60 percent of all components are supplied to the production processes on a just-in-time or just-in-sequence basis. Therefore, travel distances and loading times must be kept as short as possible. Modern logistics centers rely on sophisticated concepts and solutions to reduce the time a vehicle blocks the loading zone. With this in mind, Fahrzeugbau BÖSE designed its SWING-TOP-LIFTER. This is a body concept that spares the user time-consuming handling and long downtime. In addition, the customer’s requirement for a better ratio between loading volume and setup time was taken into account, thereby reducing operating costs.

Simple and secure User-Friendly Operation
The body opens in a matter of seconds via an easy-to-use push-button control system that hydraulically raises the roof and side walls. Depending on the location of the cargo, the vehicle’s side panels open on the left, right, or both sides. The pallets or containers are readily accessible to the forklift.
The body, with its expanded dimensions, sets a new standard for available cargo and entry heights. With a loading height of 3,000 mm, containers can be loaded into and unloaded from the body in a short amount of time. To ensure this can happen unimpeded, the roof frame is raised, providing additional clearance for the loading process. This eliminates the need for tedious and time-consuming tasks such as securing and unsecuring cargo, opening and closing side tarps, and handling stanchions and sliding covers.
